Ashlyn's Birthday

Ashlyn turned four years old this year.  She had a dinosaur birthday party, which included a dinosaur egg hunt, dinosaur bingo, a dinosaur pinata, and a dinosaur cake that Aubree made.

 

40th Wedding Anniversary

Jeff's parents had a big family party to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.  There were bounce houses, sprinklers, swimming pools, lots of food, and toys for all the kids.

Ogden Temple Open House

As part of celebrating the 40th anniversary of Jeff's parents, we attended the Ogden Temple open house with all of the Gittins family.  It was wonderful to see the new Ogden Temple and to take our kids and talk with them about the importance of temples.

Family Pictures

On August 1st, Jeff's parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.  To celebrate, the whole family got together for a day of games, activities, and food.  We also took family pictures.

In a one-year span, all six siblings had a baby.

Jeff's Birthday

We celebrated Jeff's birthday by going out to eat at a Spanish restaurant in Salt Lake City.  We had grilled octopus, pork stuffed piquillo peppers, croquetas, seafood and chicken paella, and churros and arroz con leche for dessert.

Festival Days

Jeff, Clara, and Ashlyn went to the Festival Days parade in Farmington.  The girls loved seeing all the floats, and they especially loved all the candy that they got.

Rapunzel

Aubree's friend has a business providing princesses and other characters for parties.  They were short-handed one day, and asked Aubree to fill in.  Aubree was really nervous, but felt good about her performance as Rapunzel at a birthday party.  She had to memorize several songs and stories.

Science Night

Our library had a science night.  It was packed, but a lot of fun.  Clara and Ashlyn enjoyed learning about science and doing the different science projects.

This was a science project we did at home using milk and food coloring.
