Ashcroft Family Reunion

Jeff's mom was in charge of the Ashcroft Family Reunion this year.  It was held at a park in River Heights, and it was a lot of fun!  We played on the playground, shot off water bottle rockets, caught candy from a candy cannon, made and raced pinewood derby cars, and ate a lot of good food.

Walks

We went for a lot of walks in the spring and early summer.

We found this cool seat carved into a fallen tree on a trail in Farmington.

We took several walks around the marsh by Farmington Bay.

Visit from a Friend

About 20 years ago, Jeff's family hosted a foreign exchange student from Japan named Shigeyoshi.  Since then, the two families have remained in contact.  This year, Shigeyoshi's younger brother Mitsuyoshi came to visit for a couple of days.  We took him to the Hill Air Force Museum, on a hike in Farmington Canyon, and to the driving range at the golf course.

Preschool Graduations

Clara and Ashlyn both had graduation programs for their preschools.  We are very proud of how much they learned during the past year.

Daddy-Daughter Dance

The dance studio where Clara and Ashlyn take dancing had a daddy-daughter dance at the end of the year.  Unfortunately, Ashlyn was sick, so she couldn't go.  Jeff and Clara had a good time eating, dancing, and visiting with a princess.
