Clara's Preschool Graduation

Clara went to preschool this year at Little Piggott's Preschool.  She really enjoyed her teacher, Miss Bonnie, and her classmates, Sami and Claire.  At the graduation, the students did a little program to show some of the songs, rhymes, and other things that they have learned over the course of the year.  There was also a pinata and bouncy house.

Owen Jeffry Gittins

Owen Jeffry Gittins was born at 3:24 pm on Friday, May 17, 2013.  He was much bigger than expected--9 pounds, 3 ounces and 21 inches long.  The delivery went very smoothly, and we feel very blessed to have him in our family.

New Room and Lost Tooth

To make room for the new baby, we moved Clara and Ashlyn into their new room.  The girls chose the paint colors (Clara chose blue and Ashlyn chose pink), and Aubree did a great job with the vinyl flowers.

Clara lost her first tooth.  She was SO excited for the tooth fairy to come.

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, Jeff and the girls made one of Aubree's favorite meals--cream cheese chicken lasagna with steamed carrots and real garlic bread.  There were also gifts.  Jeff got Aubree a video baby monitor, and Clara and Ashlyn gave their mom a bracelet and a necklace.

Dance Recital

Clara had another dance recital.  As usual, she did great!

Clara's Four-Year-Old Pictures

We failed to get Clara's pictures taken around her fourth birthday.  Luckily, Jeff's sister is taking a photography class and needed some practice, so she asked if she could take some pictures of Clara.  They turned out great!

Clara insisted on taking one "silly" picture.

Family Art Night

By accident, we discovered a family art night that is hosted at the Davis County Arts Center every month.  We have been a couple of times, and the girls really love it.  They have an art project for the kids to do, and an "I Spy" game for them to do as they look at the art exhibits.

Soccer

Clara played soccer again this year.  She really improved from last year, and was much more aggressive. She even came close to scoring a goal a couple of times.  Most importantly, she had a lot of fun being on the same team with some of her friends.
